The biggest buzz of the season in Indian biking community for 2012 has been the Pulsar 200NS – unvieled last month the 200NS has been on top of charts for all bloogers every now and then you will have someone taliking something about th eupcoming Pulsar 200Ns, it was even a trending topic on twitter a few weeks back.
Its time again that Pulsar 200NS is talk of town – the latest update associated with the bike is that: the 2012 Pulsar NS which was shown last month will also be having a fully faired version – the first version which was unveiled last month was a naked version – which followed the body style of a street fighter look bike.
Bikers all across mostly like 3 types of bikes the fully faired sports bike or a completely ram naked look or else the the powerful cruiser type look.
Pulsar has been a naked bike in all its version, this is for the first time that Bajaj has taken steps to buld a fully faired bike – the news was till now rumoured but Bajaj has confirmed that they will be launching a fully faired version of the Pulsar 200.
Its specualted the this version of the Pulsar 200NS will be named as Pulsar 200FS – F standing for fairing, the rest of the specificationf for the bike will remain the same as on the nakek pulsar 200NS but their would be some difference in the performance of the two bikes as with the fairing the weight of the bike will go up, currently the bike weighs around 145 kgs, modification such as this will surely increase the price as well – you can expect a price rise of between 5000 – 8000 for the faired version to the naked version.
Motorbeam created a somewhat prototype of how the bike can look and here it is
Any more comments on the specifications of the bike would be wrong at this time as even the naked version is yet to be launched, a lot more details will come out after the launch of the Pulsar 200NS
The new Pulsar series of bike is overgoing a drastic change in terms of performance, looks, designing and refinement. Plugged with a blastic 200cc, 4-valve engine with triple spark, the bike produces 23.5 BHP of power and 18.3 Nm of torque – all these are power features of a good performing bike – we hope the new pulsar will justify it and live upto the huge expectations.
