
The next big launch after the Honda CBR 250R was due for launch – the Honda CBR 150R, it has been there in the news from quite some time, and the big day in the physical developement of this bike has come in. HMSI – Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India has just started taking the booking for their 150cc version the CBR 150R. its suppose to be their next big offering for the Indian premium sports motorcycle market.
The all new 2012 CBR150R is powered with a 150cc liquid cooled, four stroke, single cylinder engine which looks very much like the big brother 250cc which powers the CBR CBR250R
The 2012 CBR 150R looks very much identical to the CBR 250R but there are a few differences that point it our from the CBR 250R namely:
* The size of the exhaust mufflers
* Overall size of the motorcycle.

In India, the CBR150R will be competing with bikes like the Yamaha R15 version 2.0, the just launched KTM Duke 200
Now, the bigeest point – the price of the Honda CBR150R, as we had earlier predicted The New Honda CBR150R is priced at Rs.1.15 Lakh ex-showroom Delhi.
There you have it Price of Honda CBR150R = Rs. 1,15,000
The first lot of deliveries of the CBR 150R will begun by the start of April 2012.
In comparison to its closest competitior in India the CBR150R has more relaxed ergonomics compared to the R15, whose design is much more sporty and racing track focused. Also, as compared to the R15 the CBR150R possesses a more comfortable pillion seat, factors like these could be the deciding elements for customers choosing between the CBR150R and the R15.
Following in this segment soon is the upcoming Kawasaki Ninja150R which is also expeected to come this year.

The bike had been earlier launched in Indonesia and there road tests had revealed the following:
* Top Speed of Honda CBR150R 170 KMPH with a bent position and 150 KMPH with upright sitting position (the test was done on a racing circuit)
* Mileage of Honda CBR150R: 50.9 KMPL
